Brynjulf Blix spiller orgel.

Gamblin' Man

(Eigil Berg)

He was cryin' out for sympathy

For a little bit of understanding

He'd been losin' out on harmony

When the game got too demanding

But he can tell you ‘bout the days gone by

When his luck was ridin' high

The high and mighty turned high and dry

Don't you pass him by

Listen to the gamblin’ man

Tryin' to make you understand

Tellin' ye how it all began

By buildin' castles in the sand

Tryin' to make you understand

Gamblin' man

He's been livin' on a dream too long

With lady luck and wheels of fortune

He's been livin' with the blues too long

Mixin' up with gamblin' potion

When he's headin’ for the journey's end

Don't you think he needs a friend

The high and mighty turned high and dry

Don't you pass him by
